Before that, she spent 9 years working as a book editor. Not bad for a literature lover who was constantly asked what in the world she'd "do with" a degree in English.
Squires's 20 years of publishing and writing experience has brought her gigs ranging from pop culture paperbacks to restaurant criticism to travel writing. Kathleen grew up in Wayne, NJ. After studying at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, she moved to Manhattan, where she has been residing for 20 years. A serial traveler, she has visited all 7 continents and over 50 countries, including stints living in London, Tokyo, and Buenos Aires.
